Aleksandar Pupac
Kinesiology professor
Brief info
The founder of our club, Aleksandar started training in Muay Thai in 1998 and is currently one of the best coaches in Croatia. He enrolled the Faculty of Kinesiology in 2002, graduating in sports conditioning. Under his leadership, top results were achieved by our former world champion Emil Zoraj, Mladen Brestovac (kickboxer of heavyweight and super heavyweight category of the world’s premier boxing league Glory and Final Fight Championship (FFC)), Viktor Zaman (former world champion in Muay Thai kickboxing), as well as a whole new generation of great young fighters such as Ante Širić, Petar Jaman, Ivan Letica and Gaj Ćosić.
From 2008 to 2012 he was the trainer of Croatian national Muay Thai representation.
The road to perfecting his coaching skills led him to sports gyms all over the world (Kick Fighter Gym and Chinuk in Belarus, Sityodtong camp in Thailand, Slamm and Vos Gym in the Netherlands) where he trained with some of the greatest names in kickboxing and Muay Thai (Petrosyan brothers, Chingiz Allazov).
Besides coaching the competitor athletes in our fight club, Aleksandar also coaches our recreational mixed group (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)
You can expect order, discipline and hard work at his training sessions. Many find him a strict coach, very focused on the correct technique with whom you cannot cut corners, but he is also endlessly dedicated to each member and their success.
